Generation Nxt

Generation Nxt is a dynamic ministry for the next Generation. It has three major facets that incorporate the children’s ministry arm of the church.

Part 1 of Generation Nxt ranges from preschool to year 7 that’s 5-12 years olds. The children sit in church for the worship and then are cheered out by the church as they go to their own program.

Part 2 of Gen Nxt is ‘Nippers’ - a program for the 2-5 year olds. It is lots of fun, with dancing, singing, storytelling and craft activities as well.

Part 3 of Generation Nxt is playgroups.

Every Tuesdays and Thursday mornings at 9:15 we run playgroups for young mum’s and babies. Thursday’s is registered with Playgroups Australia while Tuesday’s is an initiative of our mothers.

Many young mothers from our church and the community take the opportunity to come together for the morning and enjoy each other’s company while encouraging their children to develop and learn many skills.

Mothers share the responsibility for morning tea and games in a relaxing and safe environment. The room is air-conditioned and with the doors closed babies and toddlers are secure to roam and explore.

Our church also has a relaxing, private room for young babies and mothers to sit and feed with access views to the main auditorium and speakers to hear the service.

This same service is provided for parents with restless toddlers with a room established at the back of the auditorium with large windows and speakers so as to ensure that parents can participate in the service in comfort.

Generation Nxt is designed to meet the needs of children and to be as helpful as possible in assisting parents to raise their Next Generation successfully.
